I just wanted to design a classical amigurumi cat. To make the head, then the body, then limbs and tail and then sew it all together. But I couldn't find my tapestry needle (OK... I was to lazy to seek for it) so I kept working and experimenting with the shape... And that is how Cat Princess was created.
Yes, she is almost entirely seamless. Only the tail is sewed to the body (I found my needle at last). She is shaped only by increasing and decreasing. I do not use pipe cleaners or other stuff like this so a finished kitty can be safely used as a toy.
Cat Princess is about 18 cm / 7 inches tall.
What will you need? Sport yarn ( I use YarnArt Jeans) and an appropriate hook (I use 1.75mm), some stuffing and a decorative rope or ribbon. And a tapestry needle for closing holes and sewing the tail to the body.
